Introducing Our Lashes!

We’re Taking Lashing To A New Level!

Announcing Our New Lash Lounge brand lashes

After months of research and testing, we are excited to announce our new Lash Lounge brand lashes! Even better than ever, our new premium Mink and Silk lashes are made with the finest cut and highest quality materials on the market. Custom tapered for The Lash Lounge and put through a double heat-roll process for long-lasting curl, these lashes are light as lighter than a feather.

When choosing the best products for our clients, we look at four main characteristics to judge consistency – curl, length, thickness and color.

Curl is the curve degree of the lash extension. Some clients prefer just a slight curl while others want a more dramatic look. When choosing the best curl for each client, we first evaluate the curl of the client’s natural hair. For clients with naturally curlier lashes, we prefer to use a tighter curled lash for best attachment. For clients with straighter natural lashes, a less curly extension is usually favored. With the introduction of our new lash products line, we are also offering a new unique curl that provide a lift at the base for clients with hooded eyelids or very straight lashes.

Length of the extension to use on each client is determined by the lash technician. With natural lash health in mind, we never use an extension that is more than 2 times the length of a client’s natural hairs. Why? When a lash extension is too long or heavy for the natural lash, it can cause premature shedding, permanent hair loss, painful twister and turning of the lashes and an unattractive final look. To prevent these types of issues, all our of expert technicians are trained to choose the right extension for each client using the “Times 2 Rule”. We offer a variety of lengths to not only achieve the client’s desired result but to also customize each style based on the clients eye shape.

Thickness is also determined by the technician depending on the client’s natural lashes. The “Times 2 Rule” is used again but this time for width instead of length. To protect the health and integrity of the client’s natural lashes, we will not apply a lash extension that is more than double the width of the natural hair. An extension that is too thick can also cause premature shedding, permanent hair loss and painful twisting and turning. We know that thick, voluminous lashes is what most clients seek so we use a variety of advanced techniques to achieve best results without causing damage.

Color of the lash is the client’s choice. A vast majority of client’s prefer the black lashes because the dark color gives the eye more definition but, we also offer a variety of color including brown, auburn, pink, blue, purple and ombre lashes! Brown lashes are a great option for client’s with lighter color hair who want a very conservative look. They can apply extension friendly mascara when they want to give the lashes more pop. Blue and purple lashes are a favorite among our fabulously gray haired clients who want a lash color that compliments their overall look better. All colors can be added as highlights for a fun night out, special occasions, holidays or just because.
