Technician Spot Light – Meg Loftin

On every team, there is one person who keeps everyone going and holds it all together. Lash technician, Meg Loftin “is most assuredly a big part of the glue that holds our happy little work family together” said Fort Worth salon co-owner Christy Lindsey. Her willingness to work hard, go above and beyond her job duties and do it all gracefully with a smile on her face is why she is loved by her clients and co-workers. She brings a sunny disposition to any environment and a dedication to quality work that can’t be matched. “She is every employer’s dream employee” said Lindsey. Where is home for you?

California born and raised, but a Texan at heart.  Home is where my loved-ones are.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I play piano.

I have a 15-month-old daughter, London Eisley

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

A teacher . . . or Ariel ; )

How is being a Lash Lounge technician different than any other job you’ve had?

For starters, it’s amazing.  It never gets boring.  I love having a job that allows me to channel my creative side. 

What is your favorite part of being a lash technician?

Meeting interesting people and working with the best girls ever!

I’m a total geek – don’t judge: New Girl and Parenthood

What places have you traveled to or would like to travel to?

I would love to go back to London.  If I could visit NYC once a year, I would.

What do you like to do in your down time?

Play with my daughter, read, and listen to music.

If you could trade places with any celebrity for a day, who would it be and why?

Zooey Deschanel – because she’s Zooey Deschanel and because I want her clothes.

Who are your role models?

I have many.  Many of the women in my life have qualities I would like to model myself after.

What is your definition of beauty in one sentence?

Beauty is staying true to yourself and owning it.
